Matenrou Opera 'club摩天楼開店祝!お披露目会 / club Matenrou Opera Kaiteniwai! Ohiromekai' November 4th at Shibuya O-WEST
Three Cheers to Matenrou Opera!

The symphony from the speakers was cut in mid-stride as Anzi, Ayame, Yo and Yu began to play together. That kicked off the event celebrating the opening of 'Club 摩天楼 (Club Matenrou)', the mobile fan club website of the band.

Matenrou Opera is set to make their major debut with the EP 'Abyss' from King Records on December 22nd. It's been only 3 years since they had formed the band.

During those 3 years, they took the indie music scene by storm. They have pulled off a slew of feats both inside and outside of Japan. Just a year after they had formed, they went on a tour around Europe. During the following year they performed in front of a sellout crowd at Tokyo's Akasaka BLITZ.

This day's event was held at Shibuya O-WEST. With just over a month to go until their major debut, what did the band have in store for their fans? Check this live report to find out.

Episode 137: A Ray of D'espairsRay

Hi readers, this is Kaei from musicJAPANplus. It's my first time to write an article in pressnote because I went to D'espairsRay 10thanniversary live with Jou last week.

In Japan, it is getting cold and rains a lot these days, which indicates the Autumn is coming to this city. However, on Oct. 1st, the day of the live, it was shiny and warm. It's my first time to meet Jou, who is a world team member of musicJAPANplus from Singapore. After a short visit to the office, we left for the Shibuya station where C.C.Lemon Hall locates. We arrived at 18:00 sharp and it was quite dark outside but a lot of fans were waiting and talking.

Read the whole pressnote here!

[VRF × MJP] PENICILLIN presenting themselves in their own way!

V-ROCK FESTIVAL'09 is only one day away!
We have published the handwritten answers of the artists every Tuesday, but this time we will present a very special version!

Finally, it became PENICILLIN's time to express their enthusiasm for V-ROCK FESTIVAL'09!
The band is known as one of the greatest Visual-kei bands ever.
You can expect that they will have a bigger impact on the audience than any other bands on the stage!

By the way, HAKUEI will appear in the fashion show as a model too!
If you are interested in what clothes he will wear on the stage, check the list of the brands featured in the show among the news.

See Chisato's cute drawing and how enthusiastic O-JIRO is!

So I'm kinda bored and want a discussion.
I'm also curious as to whether anyone will respond to this.

I see discussions about this on Japanese sites everywhere, but none in english.

Did anyone get/listen to ABC's Q.E.D album?
And if so...Did they read the story?

Who the hell do you think killed Vivian? And why?

I wanna know what everyone else thinks!

I would say "Don't read the comments if you're worried about spoilers"...
But really, nobody can prove they have the right answer anyway, so at the end of the day, it will all be speculation.
Either way, if you think it will still bother you, just don't read it. ^^

So without further ado...

Though the lineup has changed, the power behind this band hasn’t – giving fans a rework of all their previous sold out singles with their new lineup. This album is a must have for deathgaze fans and is a perfect introduction for new fans to this excellent band.

Pre-order the September 9th release here
Also be sure to check out the rest of HearJapan for your favorite band’s releases for a low price!

I found this interview in the SF Weekly with VAMPS from the recent show in San Francisco, and I thought you guys might be interested. It's a pretty cool article, there are some good questions. It's good to see them get some mainstream coverage.

It’s extremely hot in Tokyo! The sunlight is almost painful…

But the following artist is going to completely obliterate our summer woes!
It is their very first appearance in our Seasonal Survey!
They’ve just come back from their U.S.A. Tour…our guest is…VAMPS!!

This is the one and only place to hear HYDE and K.A.Z talk about their experiences during the summer holidays!
What sort of swimsuits do they like to wear…?

You can’t afford to miss it!
